In addition to being head/sweatbands, these products are wide enough to cover the nose and mouth. While not medical grade by any means, they are offer a comfortable layer of fabric between you and the elements.

The difference between the BAM and the Tube Band is fabric only. 

BAM is 95% jersey bamboo, 5% spandex.

Tube Band is made of polyester/spandex blend.
